3. UVC (Ultraviolet C): This division has the shortest wavelength, ranging from 100 to 280 nanometers. UVC light, fortunately, is primarily absorbed by the Earth's atmosphere and does not reach the surface. It is extremely germicidal and is frequently used for disinfection.
